The House of CEOยฎ is officially trademarked, and i The House of CEOยฎ is officially trademarked, and in my 10th year of entrepreneurship, this feels just so special to me. Years ago, I actually tried to trademark Exceptional Tax Services (ETS) and went through the entire process, only for it not to happen. Looking back, I think that season was part of what pushed me to rebrand under my own name and really start thinking bigger about what I was actually trying to build. The House of CEO came after that. It grew out of everything Iโ€™ve learned over all of these years about building a business that is profitable, aligned, and sustainable. Seeing this name officially protected feels very full circle for me, and almost like a confirmation that Iโ€™m on the right track. I want to give a huge thank you to Charis, @thebrandattorney, who handled the trademark for me, and who is also my Cohort Sister (shoutout GG #48 ATL!) from the Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women: Black in Business program. 10 years in, and I feel like Iโ€™m stepping more fully into the work, the voice, and the kind of business I was always meant to build.
